Mind Over Machine
- UN raises concerns regarding Neurotechnology.
- Neurotechnology encompasses both hardware and software that directly measure, access, monitor, analyse, predict or modulate the nervous system. E.g., brain-computer interface (BCI).
- The integration of AI with neuroscience can impact key aspects of the human brain, including reasoning, learning, perception, prediction, planning, and control.
- Concerns include Mental Integrity, Personal Identity & Psychological Continuity, and the Use of Neural Data for targeted marketing or commercial gain.
- UNESCO had recommended Legal Protection and Regulation, Data Policy and Equitable Access for Neurotechnology.
